What to expect during your connection call

Booking a connection call with me is your first step towards exploring how we might work together to support your ADHD journey. This free 30-minute call is designed to give us both the opportunity to see if we’re a good fit and if my approach aligns with your needs.

During our conversation, we will cover:

Exploring your goals

We'll discuss the changes you’d like to make, the support you're looking for, and what you'd like to achieve through our coaching sessions. You’ll have space to reflect on the person you want to become and the steps that will help you get there.

Finding the right fit

Coaching is a partnership, and it’s important that you feel comfortable with me as your coach. During the call, we’ll both have the chance to see if our working styles align and how we can best collaborate to reach your goals. We’ll also discuss any organizational or Access to Work arrangements if relevant.

I’m committed to offering you a space where you can be yourself. That means a judgment-free, neuroaffirmative environment where your thoughts, feelings, and experiences are honoured.

If you have any specific accommodations or needs, feel free to let me know in advance, and I’ll do everything I can to support you during our call.

Clarity and next steps

By the end of our call, my goal is for you to leave with a sense of clarity and hope. We’ll explore what your next steps might be, whether that’s moving forward with coaching, considering other options, or simply reflecting on what we’ve discussed.

Preparing for your call:

Share a bit about yourself:

Before our call, you’ll have the opportunity to fill out a short form so I can get to know you better. This will help us dive right into your needs and how I can best support you.

Find a private and comfortable space:

If possible, please arrange to be somewhere private and comfortable for the call, so you can focus fully on our conversation.

Recording your session

I’m committed to offering you a space where you can be yourself. That means a judgment-free, neuroaffirmative environment where your thoughts, feelings, and experiences are honoured.

Recording Your Session: I use a notetaking tool called Fathom to record the call (with your permission). This allows us both to stay focused and creative during the conversation, knowing that the key points will be captured for future reference.

You’ll receive an email from Fathom prior to our meeting asking for your consent, and I’ll check in with you about it at the start of the session. Recordings are stored securely for six months and can be deleted upon request.

If you need to reschedule

Life happens! If something comes up and you can’t make the call, please let me know as soon as possible. You’ll have the option to reschedule or cancel using the links in your confirmation email.

Once our connection call wraps up, you'll receive a detailed follow-up to help you reflect on everything we discussed and continue making progress.

Session Notes: I’ll send you a summary of the key points from our conversation, covering your goals, challenges, and potential next steps. This will give you a clear overview to reflect on and guide your thinking as you move forward.

Fathom Transcript: If we agreed to record the session, you’ll also receive a full transcript from Fathom, the notetaking tool I use. This will allow you to revisit the conversation in more detail, helping you recall any important insights, action points, or strategies we discussed.

Resources: During the call, if we talked about specific tools, articles, or resources that may support you, I’ll include those in the follow-up email. These resources will be tailored to your needs and provide extra support as you move forward.

Next Steps: If we agreed to move forward with coaching, the follow-up email will also include a link to book your initial coaching session. This session will build on what we discussed during the call, allowing us to start working together with clarity and focus on your ADHD journey.

With these follow-up materials, you’ll have everything you need to reflect on the conversation and take practical steps toward your goals. If anything new comes to mind after the call or you have questions about our discussion, don’t hesitate to reach out. I'm here to support you!
